In a sign of things to come, Japan’s Masataka Mikami was knocked cold out after he accidentally clashed heads with his team-mate, Takeshi Kizu, during Japan’s 61-21 humbling at the hands of the New Zealand Maori this past weekend.
From that very moment, you just knew it wouldn’t be the Japanese’s day and that’s how it transpired as the Maori comfortably put them to the sword.
